Copy trading, hedging and automation

Copy across your own evaluations, never hedge, and place every evaluation trade by hand.

5.15

Copy trading across your own evaluation accounts is permitted, on any supported platform.

Copying mirrors the same positions in the same direction, and all of your accounts run under the same Rithmic login.

5.16

When copying, each account's contract limit applies on its own.

5.17

Hedging is not permitted, in one account or across several, in the same instrument or a correlated one. This applies in the evaluation and on the live account.

5.18

Automated and algorithmic trading is not permitted in the evaluation. Every evaluation trade must be placed by hand.

5.19

Automated and algorithmic trading is permitted on the live account.

EMAIL SUPPORT

This rule book is the plain language statement of the rules ONYX applies. Where it differs from the Terms of Use, or from the documentation you sign for a live account, that document governs.

The evaluation is simulated trading. No real capital and no real market execution are involved in it, and passing an evaluation does not guarantee placement: a live account is offered at the discretion of the firm and subject to broker approval. Trading futures and options carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Hypothetical performance results have inherent limitations, some of which are described under CFTC Rule 4.41.
